LAQE — Lateral Admission
Starting March 16, 2026, the PSHS System is accepting applicants for available Grade 8 and 9 slots for SY 2026–2027.
Criteria for Eligibility
A student who has finished Grade 7 or Grade 8 from a school duly recognized by the Department of Education, outside the PSHS System, may be allowed to take the LAQE if they meet all criteria below.
Before you apply
Change of campus choice will not be entertained after the exam is administered. You will only be considered for the campus you chose.
Examinee scores are ranked highest to lowest; admission depends on the number of slots available per campus.
Issued by the campus registrar once all requirements are submitted and evaluated, stating the exam schedule and what to bring.
On or before the set deadline for filing the application form, submit the following to the nearest PSHS campus:
- An accomplished application form, including certification from parents of no pending application for immigration to any foreign country.
- Certification from the present school regarding academic grades and character rating.
- A photocopy of the student's report card, with the original brought along for verification.
- Two (2) recent 1×1 pictures.
- A non-refundable processing fee of Php 300.
